Hamilton's Special Education Department services 140 students with varying disabilities.
We do this through a continuum of services. These services include Behavioral Support Center,
Resource (Reading, English and Math), Co-Teach (Reading, English, Science and S. Studies),
Support Facilitation (in the regular classroom), Speech Therapy, Regular with modifications,
and Regular with no modifications (preparing for special education dismissal).
Our motto is "Together We All
Succeed" . We stress and support
inclusion. All students are
included in the regular
classroom in some way. We are
part of the Building Inclusive
Schools Initiative with Region 4
as well as working with the
National Inclusive Schools
Initiative. |
